Approximately 1 in 2 women in South Africa will be raped in their lifetime. This is traumatic. Even those who have never been raped or known anyone who has been, are traumatized and paralyzed by fear.

We need to undress this issue. We need to understand it better before we can start even thinking about solutions. This is my contribution to that movement towards knowledge.

My intentions are BIG. You’ll read about them as time passes. But before we can change the problems, we must understand, intricately, the psychology and pathology of rape culture and a society that has become so warped by it that it’s now normalized.
